I’ve recently had some troubles with postings to my website (now sorted), which explains the gap since my last news item. I’ve been incredibly busy preparing for the upcoming Plainsong CD and tour, both of which are now coming along nicely. The Plainsong dates can be viewed over on my Tour Dates page.

Not having been creatively inspired for a while, I found that as soon as I didn’t feel pressured about writing new songs, I started writing them! I had one very productive week with some good results and am looking forward to playing them live and recording some of them as soon as time allows. Dan Penn was kind enough to suggest doing another project together and the wonderful Uli Kringler has some great production ideas too…could be two plans in the offing!

It continues to be a very wet and windy spring in Somerset, but nevertheless, best wishes to all of you out there in Internetland,
